A forum for Region 7 agencies and experts to learn about share   mercury-related program and resources.
The Region 7 Mercury Task Force was initiated in November 2002 after identifying a need to share mercury-related program information. EPA Region 7 states include Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebrasks.
  When we meet
The group meets every other month by Conference Calls and is made up of interested parties representing federal, state, and local agencies as well as other interested parties or experts.
  Goal
The goal of our task force is to identify regional and national mercury pollution prevention resources, promote program partnerships, and ultimately work towards minimizing the public health and environmental impact of mercury.
 
   
               
      P2RIC is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange,
a national network of regional information centers:
NEWMOA (northeast), WRRC (southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes),
ZeroWasteNet (southwest), P2RIC (plains), Peaks to Prairies (mountain),
WRPPN
(Pacific southwest), PPRC (northwest).
