EMS for Printers - It's a Bottom Line Benefit: Chapter 03: TS Designs
Chapter Abstract: This is chapter 3 of 4 for this video. T.S. Designs is a small screen printer. They began with basic office pollution prevention including the elimination of Styrofoam cups. They did not set specific goals in an attempt to keep the program flexible. They involved the employees in the design of the program; this increases their interest in implementation. They have found tremendous savings at the bottom line by reducing their waste costs. Their EMS has allowed them to keep up with changing environmental regulations and technology. T.S. Designs has been a partner in the EPA's Design for the Environment program. Their EMS has reduced costs, increased screen quality, reduced chemical use and improved overall product quality.
