Chapter Abstract: This is clip 10 of 26 for this video. Thermoplastic coatings do not change their chemical composition. If heat is reapplied, it can be remelted. Thermoset coatings change chemically when baked to form higher molecular weight materials. It therefore cannot be remelted.
