Chapter Abstract: This is clip 20 of 26 for this video. The chipped wood is dumped at the boiler facility. After the fermentation process, the spent grains are dried and resold as dairy rations. The evaporation from this process is cooled and treated before being discharged. The wood ash is removed from the boiler and is used as either soil conditioner or added to compost. They have been very successful in reducing their landfill wastes.
