Chapter Abstract: This is clip 4 of 7 for this video. Schools have to be especially careful when dealing with mercury spills. The largest problem is students accidentally breaking thermometers. Prevention is the best approach. School officials should inventory all sources of mercury present in their buildings. Alternatives to mercury should be found whenever possible.
