Chapter Abstract: This is clip 5 of 5 for this video. It is also important to be involved with local recycling and composting programs for waste that cannot be eliminated. The following steps will allow a company to create a plan that will grow with the business: designate a person or team; assess the waste stream; develop waste prevention goals; develop a plan; educate employees; document savings and review and amend the plan. Adopting such a plan will allow a company to receive economic benefits for themselves and their community.
