The Peaks to Prairies Pollution Prevention Information Center extends a special
thanks to all contributors and reviewers who helped make this product a technically
accurate and credible resource. The hub was developed largely through the research and work of Peaks to Prairies
staff. Reviewers and other professionals helped sets its direction by identifying
trends that relate to pollution prevention and sustainable community growth.
Links throughout the hub stress a key concept experts emphasized, and that is
that business, institutions, government, and citizens are all responsible for
sustainability. Funding was provided from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The hub
addresses a statement of need expressed by many communities throughout the country
as they look to grapple with the problems and opportunities of growth in ways
that emphasize their strengths and uniqueness. This hub was created to give
pollution prevention service providers the information they need to offer technical
assistance.
